Bike City, U.S.A.?

With all this talk about how awesome Portland is for bicycles, and since it’s also where the 2008 North American Handmade Bicycle Show will be, Kelly and I have bought* tickets to be on the left coast in February.

* (Actually all the travel I do for work, and the points earned because of that, has allowed us to fly round trip and stay in Portland for a grand total of $15)

So, what should we do and see to make sure we can really understand what all the fuss is about?
