I hate LA

A couple of my friends recently went out to LA for the summer. They really seemed to love it and are considering moving there. They tried to recruit me for their trans-contentinal relocation, claiming that I would love it as much as they do. I wasn’t buying the awesomeness of LA. I have only been there once (about 10 years ago) and didn’t like it from the get-go, but that’s just me. I’m not blonde. I’m also someone who likes to ride a bike and LA is not exactly bike friendly. I just read this on StreetsBlog and it’s pretty horrifying.

There are bike-haters everywhere, but this goes above and beyond hate. LA, no thanks.
