I Love NY

Riding in NYC hasn’t always been easy, and it’s still far from perfect, but progress is being made. Everyday I commute to work (except today because I’m working from home) and everyday I see more people on bikes. I find it very exciting to see bike lanes filled with commuters on their way to work and I consider myself lucky to be one of them. It’s also very upsetting to see blatant disregard for those bike lanes, but that’s another story. This article was in today’s Times and if it goes through it will give more New Yorkers access to bikes everyday. The more people that ride, the more of a demand there will be for a more safe and bike friendly city.

More bikes = less cars and that makes most people happy.
