About Bikes Only

My original idea and the name of this blog (BIKE LANE, BIKES ONLY) came about through sheer frustration of commuting in Brooklyn by bike everyday. Bike lanes are not exactly Bikes Only around here. They’re more Bike Lane, Double Parked Cars and Delivery Truck Parking or Bike Lane, A Really Great Place to Stand with All Your Bags and Hail A Cab Lane. I decided to start taking pictures of all the insanity, but then realized there was way more cool/interesting bike related information to talk about. I’m still going to have a special section called “WTF?” for the most insane bike related article of the week.

I would like to create a place where people can hang out and talk bikes the way I do when I go to my local bar. I wanna talk about rides, the newest & coolest, why Lance is dating a 12 year old (”WTF?”) etc… I like bikes, let’s talk.
